Our TSDZ8 motor comes pre-installed with the latest optimized firmware. This updated firmware enhances the motor's internal algorithm and adjusts key operating parameters to fully unlock the motor's potential. As a result, power output across all assist levels is significantly improved.

What’s the difference between the TSDZ8 and the Bafang BBS02 mid-drive motors?

Choose TSDZ8 if you want a natural pedaling experience with advanced torque sensing and responsive assist.

Choose BBS02 if you prefer throttle-heavy riding or want more “motorbike-like” performance.
